The stories featured in this book were created by three preschools in Västra Frölunda, Gothenburg. The children themselves photographed the pictures in the book, and through a collaborative and creative process, they developed the storyline and determined the visual aesthetics of the illustrations. The primary goal was to empower the children to have as much influence on the content of the book as possible.

Maria and Lars assisted in transforming the children's ideas into illustrations and crafting their stories into a cohesive narrative. The book comprises three imaginative stories driven by storytelling and the collective creativity that emerges when working and fantasizing together. In this collaborative effort, all ideas were valued and embraced as contributions to the storytelling process.
