Installation views: Kinesiska muren, Gothenburg (2025)

When the ice melts, the stories remain. The icebergs drift slowly past, avoiding becoming a point of anchorage for a world that must never return to what it once was. At the core of it all is a mountain of uranium and a small Inuit population. Colonial structures lie like a fog over the mountains, blending ways of seeing from a time long before one was born.

The exhibition Meltdown brings together works by filmmaker Inuk Jørgensen and artist Lars Dyrendom. At its core is the colonial relationship between Greenland and

Denmark. The works move between personal experiences and a broader structural perspective on climate change, natural resources, and human perception.
